FAQ

Lasarotta Hunting provides Balkan hunting and shooting tours for groups of friends and business partners who have been travelling and hunting together for many years. Volume dove hunting, driven quail hunting, driven pheasant hunting, driven jackal hunting, and driven wild boar hunting are our main driven shooting operations. For smaller groups of up to six people, we also offer guided 1:1 hunting trips for mouflons, roe deer, red deer, fallow deer, jackals, wolves, wild boars, and European brown bears.o.

Our all-inclusive tours include everything from lodging, food, and hunting services to trophy shipping. Once you book your dates and pay a 50% deposit, we will arrange your local hunting licence based on evidence that you own a sporting arm in your country in your own name. To bring your sporting firearms to our counters, you will need an invitation letter from us allowing you to temporarily import sporting firearms into Balkan countries. We also arrange all airport transfers and ground 4×4 transportation in hunting areas for your group. We prefer that teams bring their own guns because they are accustomed to doing so, but in the event that your gun does not arrive on the same flight as you or for any other reason you are unable to take your sporting arms on the plane, we will contact a few companies specialising in firearm rentals on your behalf. These are the same partners who sell ammunition to our clients and ship hunting trophies, both of which we are not licenced to do and which are not included in any of our all-inclusive sporting packages. Flights to the Balkans, loaders, ammunition and bar drinks are all optional extras that are not included in all of our tours. Those additional services requested by you would be ordered with our partners, who would charge ammunition and bar bills in cash after the services were rendered. The Lasarotta team would provide expert guidance and support throughout the trip, as well as prearrange all relevant special requests, which sometimes require more than a few months’ notice to be successfully organised.

Yes, our English-speaking guides will provide special attention and expert advice to “novice guns,” and if necessary, we will organise training courses prior to the start of the main part of your group hunting trip. In addition, if additional hunting training courses are required, we will arrange them for your team. In Belgrade, we offer joint sporting arms and hunting training courses on Monday and Tuesday, with exams on Wednesday morning. By Wednesday afternoon, your group will be ready to go hunting in Serbia, having obtained all necessary international hunting and sporting arms handling certificates and insurance. We can organise only shooting range practise in other countries in the region; for example, a day of practise before driven wild boar trips, but only certified international hunting courses are organised in Serbia. Furthermore, Lasarotta provides a variety of training hunting venues for novice hunters throughout the year at various locations to boost their confidence, and we take the training of young and inexperienced hunters seriously with a lot of patience and professionalism.

Our cartridge-to-bird or bullet-to-animal ratio is approximately three cartridges per bird or three rifle bullets per animal. This ratio is sometimes closer to 2 on dove shooting and roe deer hunting trips and sometimes closer to 4 on upland quail or duck hunting trips. Most of our hunting trips, such as driven wild boar and driven jackal hunting trips, have a bullet-to-animal ratio of 3:1. We will provide plenty of opportunities for your team to hit their targets and will tailor the hunting package to your needs and previous hunting experience, but in order to avoid misunderstandings, we will clearly specify the terms and conditions under which we have been operating for the past two decades. Your group would have realistic chances of harvesting prearranged tickets for each game animal or game bird. Annual game quotas are sold based on the national hunting management programme, which provides national guidelines as the main strategic conservation and management plan, including annual quotations for small game and tickets allocated for big game in each hunting estate. Demand has been much higher than supply in recent years. Many people will be disappointed if hunting venues are not prearranged on time and tickets are sold out. To secure contracts and expected quotes for your trip, you must pay us deposits on time, which will automatically reserve game tickets. Our advice is to plan your hunt well in advance. You would secure your quotas on time, and we can guarantee that you would have your chances. However, the number of wounded and missing animals varies by group, and those with more experience tend to get better results in the evening when the harvested game is laid next to open fire. It is very relative how many chances each member of the team would have individually, but we see each team as a group spirit venue where it is important for the group to do well even if we try hard for each individual to have more equal chances.

Because our services are in high demand, we recommend making your reservations several months in advance, up to a year in advance, to save money on expensive last-minute airfare and avoid disappointment if we are sold out. Early bookings also give you more time to plan other activities, which is especially important for trips that last 7 days and include 4 days of hunting. Let us help you plan the perfect hunting trip, and we’re sure you’ll tell all your hunting friends about us.
