RECOMMENDED TIPS
To shoot successfully Collared Doves in Serbia it is important to know following ways of birds’ behaviour. They are all wild birds that are forming corridors to feeding areas when the heat of the day would open sunflower head, so it is easy to feed on it. Birds would suddenly start flying in big and regular numbers around midday all the way until evening. The Collared Doves are normally forming corridors out of roosting areas toward feeding areas and water holes going back and forward so opportunity for challenging high birds can be expected from both directions and positioning yourself sideways overlooking looking both direction with no much movement is essential. Other tip is to stay absolutely calm almost frozen when noticing birds flying from the distance toward your direction. Human face and any movement would scare Serbian Collared Doves in the way that whey would change direction. Our guides would explain you the patterns but your success is due to your ability to accommodate to the this challenging bird since it is not easy as many people think and especially it is far more difficult than Shooting Clouds of Doves in Argentina.
