One hour and a half drive from Belgrade, our estate is located near the village of Zagajica in Deliblato Sands halfway between the market town of Bela Crkva (White Church in translation from Serbian) and Vrsac. A land that belonged to the Lasarotta family for generations is now available for Driven Wild European Quail Shooting. In Europe, sand-based hills are the best habitat for wild European quail because they can wash their feathers there. The Quail Hills estate is located in our village Zagajica on the east bank of Deliblato Sand.
Zagajica Village is called Wachtel in German, which means Wild Quail in Serbian. In Serbian, Zagajica means gate to the hunting estate. We are pleased to invite you to be our guests and experience one of the few most scenic and challenging drives in these hills to provide excellent quality birds and a very enjoyable hunting experience. Despite being only available during very short seasons, the driven quail shooting experience is unique.
5 drives per day
20 or 12 bore shotguns with ammunition UK Size 7,5
Birds are extremely challenging to novice guns. However, experienced game shooting teams would find Driven Quail as blend of Driven Snipe, Driven Partridge, and Driven Grouse Shooting.
Reasonably fit teams that enjoy experiencing different cultures are welcome but those with mobility issues are welcome since most of drives can be set out using all-terrain vehicles.
All food is provided over the course of trip based on 3 meals per day and all soft drinks during shooting. However, late bar drinks as well hotel bar coffee, cocktails, or fresh juices outside of main restaurant meals are paid separately.
Belgrade Airport is 1h 20 min away as well there is opportunity to use the Vrsac International Airport that is now available for the private jets only and it is 10 minutes from our base in Hotel Srbija, Vrsac.
From Most Capitals of Europe Belgrade Airport is around 2h of flying time as well transfer from Belgrade Airport to Vrsac takes around 1h 45 minutes
